This street is part of Lower Manhattan,passing through the area known as Little Italy. It was a crowded area,with tall tenement buildings and trading stalls. A large proportion of the population were Italian immigrants. The view here (with 84 Mulberry Street at right) looks north towards the intersection with Canal Street from a point just north of Mulberry Bend. At centre right is the Banca Malzone.
