Camouflaged camera, used with a device such as a timer, remote trigger,or motion sensor,to photograph wildlife in tropical forests. If the camera was not camouflaged, its unfamiliar appearance and shiny surfaces would cause most animals to avoid it. As well as the camouflage,a variety of other techniques are used to obtain photographs and video of wildlife in tropical forests at night, including night vision sensors and positioning the cameras on trails known to be used by wildlife.
