Comb jelly (Cestum veneris). Comb jellies (Ctenophores) are jellyfish-like organisms that take their common name from their rows of hair-like cilia. They beat these cilia to propel them through the water. Comb jellies are found in seas throughout the world,reaching a maximum length of around 5 centimetres.
